At Leesburg UMC, our goal is prepare our youth for a life of discipleship by giving them tools and experiences that they can build on as adults.
Youth ministry begins in 6th grade with Confirmation and youth are integrated into the life of our greater youth ministry.

Our Youth gather on Sunday mornings at 9:45 in the AG (the white building to right of the main building with the large windows and green awning; please enter through the side door on Liberty Street) for our Youth Worship Service which we call "Gallery."

Gallery is our primary weekly activity. Youth worship God through song with our youth praise band, prayer, scripture, discussion groups, a brief message by our youth director and share in the Sacrament of Holy Communion.  We begin each week with ice breakers and activities before moving into worship.

As youth get older, they take on more responsibilities for this service, so they are prepared to participate or lead during their college and adult years.

We encourage youth to grow in Christ by engaging the work of the Holy Spirit through the means of grace. Our programs and curriculum are designed for all youth to practice the means of grace throughout the year, as they develop lifelong friendships and have a lot of fun along the way! We strive to maintain a good balance of fun with spiritual formation.
