Back to Church Sunday

Back to Church Sunday
Sunday, September 19, 2021, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Join us on September 19 for Back to Church Sunday.* It's our kickoff celebrating a joyous return and a launch of our fall ministires. We'll be launching our re-imagined in-person contemporary worship service at 9 a.m., with music from our band Raising Praise. And of course, we're continuing our current in-person and livestreamed traditional service at 11 a.m with music by the Chancel Choir.  In the coming weeks get some sneak peaks of what exciting things will be happening between our services here!

In addition to worship together at 9 am at 11 am, we will have time to fellowship together between the services. We look forward to using the hour from 10 to 11 am to engage together in ministry and mission projects, have extended fellowship times such as luncheons and celebrations, meet in classes or small groups, or even hold short congregational meetings.

9 am Worship with music led by Raising Praise

9am Kids and Youth Field Day

10 am Fellowship and Ministry Hour

11 am Worship with music led by the Chancel Choir; Live Streamed

We will continue to live stream the 11 am service at this time. We hope to also live stream the 9 am service once we have the technology and volunteer resources in place.

We are excited at the possibilities to do and be church together. We hope you will join us.

* While we use the terminology of “Back to Church,” this means so much more than simply getting back into a building; or going back in time to the way things were prior to COVID-19. “Back to church” is really about renewing what it means for us to be the Church, the “body of Christ” to, for, and with one another, whether online or in-person. It’s about re-imagining and experiencing anew what it means to also be the visible presence of God’s love in the world! It’s about re-connecting, or for many, strengthening the  connection, we have with each other and with Christ!

“Back to Church Sunday” – more than a building, more than pre-COVID, and more than just Sunday!
