Easter Sunday Worship Services
For Easter Sunday, Leesburg UMC will offer several opportunities to worship together both in-person and virtually.
10:00 am Worship on our Livestream page
We will offer our normal Sunday livestream service where you can interact with other viewers in the live chat on the website or in the comments on Facebook. Our worship leaders will be active in the chat and would love to hear from you! Join via our website or Facebook.
In-person Worship Services

6:30 am SonRise Worship at Ida Lee Park (New Location!)
This year's SonRise worship will be at the northwest corner of Ida Lee Park, not at the gazebo as usual. Follow Old Waterford Road past Union Cemetery and Rust Library. Past the library on the right is a parking lot. Park there and follow the asphalt trail that heads back toward the library. See map here. 9:00 am Worship at the Old Stone Church Site
The historic Old Stone Church site, a heritage landmark of the United Methodist Church and the first Methodist property in America, is located at the northeast corner of Liberty & Cornwall Streets, one block north of the LUMC
11:00 am Worship in the Sanctuary and on livestream
Gather in our historic sanctuary. This service will also be livestreamed!
Basic Requirements for all in-person worship:
- Pre-register and affirm the health acknowledgement.
- Complete a short health check – temperature prior to coming; no COVID-19 symptoms; etc.
- Practice social distancing from non-related persons.
- Wear a face covering at all times.
- Follow signs and/or directions of ushers.
- Refrain from physical touch with others.
- Refrain from singing indoors.
- Children are welcome as long as they are able to wear a face covering and keep it on.
